FAQ.

How can I pay for your services?

  • All booking fees (deposits) have to be paid via bank transfer when requested to secure the booking date and time.

  • The remainder can be paid on the day via cash or bank transfer.

How much in advance should I book you?

  • There’s no real answer for that because some popular dates get snatched up 2 years in advance, and some of them stay open even up to a month before. Enquire to lock it in as soon as you can, or book in your trial within 2 weeks to tentatively hold the date if it is currently still available.

What brands do you use in your kit?

  • Dior, Estée Lauder, Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass, Laura Mercier, NARS, Huda Beauty, Bobbi Brown, Natasha Denona, Viseart, Patrick Ta, Fenty, Pat McGrath, One/Size, Makeup Forever, MAC, Kosas, Shiseido, Laneige, and many more.

Do I have to bring my own products?

  • I will have an extensive kit of skin care and makeup, with options to suit everyone. However if you have products you rather use due to allergies or sensitivities, I will help you apply them with my clean set of brushes.

Do you offer touch ups?

  • Everyone will have a final touchup at the end of the whole group appointment.

  • For bridal parties, everyone will receive a mini touch up kit complimentary.

  • If the bridal party requires full touch ups again at the reception venue (if it is a long day), this can be quoted specifically for your bridal party size. Do express your interest to add this on if you wish to. *subject to availability.

What if I have to cancel my booking?

  • The booking fee (deposit) paid is forfeited as I have account for admin time as well as holding the date and time for you, turning away other enquiries in the time I have held it for you.

What if someone in my bridal party no longer requires a service?

  • The total outstanding charges agreed upon in the contract remains the same, therefore you could find someone else to replace the person who no longer wishes to get their makeup and/or hair done.

Should I do trial? I trust you!

  • I highly recommend booking in a trial 1-2 months before your wedding day even if you ‘trust’ me, as it is important that we are both on the same page on the day.

  • You will already be over-stimulated on your wedding day when everyone is rushing around getting ready, and other vendors like your florist and photographer are arriving with their own set of instructions. The last thing you need is me asking you multiple questions about how you prefer your blush, eyeliner, lipstick etc.

  • Trial appointments are held at my studio in Fraser Rise 3336 on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, and select Saturdays.

Do you recommend spray tans for brides?

  • I highly recommend that brides go get a spray tan at a reputable salon or professional as you will look more warm, glowing and toned overall. Only the thinnest layer is recommended on the face and jaw to ensure a seamless blend with the makeup on the face all the way down to the décolletage.

  • A spray tan should ideally be done 2-3 days before the wedding day.

  • Most spray tanners offer you a trial too which is also recommended.
